MWEB surprised the market in mid-March when it announced the launch of its affordable uncapped ADSL services, staring from as little as R219 per month. 

Numerous Internet Service Providers (ISPs) were quick to respond to MWEB’s uncapped packages, launching their own uncapped services and in most cases undercutting MWEB’s pricing.

Prices have dropped to as low as R159 per month for an uncapped ADSL account, clearly showing the impact of competition in the market.
