Free low-latency ADSL accounts
Openweb is offering ADSL users 1GB free ADSL data on its “Gold level” ADSL network. According to Openweb these accounts offer low latency, and are aimed at gamers which have been struggling with high latency recently.
“We have noticed that clients from various ISPs are suffering from high latency, effectively preventing gamers from playing online games. We are helping out by granting access to our Gold level ADSL network to the first 200 folks to take us up on this obligation free offer,” said Openweb’s Keoma Wright.
These accounts offer low latency, high priority bandwidth with IPC nodes in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
The free 1GB Openweb accounts will not auto renew, when means that consumers will not be required to cancel the account if they no longer want to use it after November.
