Neotel’s new fibre based broadband services were launched recently, offering speeds of between 1 Mbps and 15 Mbps
Neotel recently launched its fibre based broadband services aimed at the business market, named NeoBroadband Fibre Business Internet Service. Neotel says that the service is suitable for clients whose “applications are bandwidth intensive”.
The Neotel fibre broadband’s bandwidth is burstable for all Internet traffic (both local and international) “up to purchased port speed depending upon network availability”.
NeoBroadband Fibre Business Internet offers clients uncapped Internet access, a managed CPE device and 5 fixed public IP addresses. Neotel points out that a fair use policy is applied with regards to traffic abuse, but the exact details of this policy are not known.
It should be noted that the service comes without any Service Level Agreements (SLA), there are no upload and download performance commitments and it is essentially a best effort broadband product.
