Vodacom has extended its 20GB for R499 prepaid data deal to its broadband standard and broadband advanced contract customers

Vodacom has extended their promotional MyGig 20 data bundle to their contract subscriber base, offering 20GB of prepaid data for R499.

The “More data, More surfing, Mofaya Summer!” data promotion from Vodacom slashes the price of the company’s 20GB prepaid data bundle from R3,620 to R499. This equates to a price of 2.4c per MB.

The out of bundle rate for this prepaid data bundle is 18c per MB.

Initially Vodacom’s promotional 20GB data bundle was only available to prepaid and top-up customers from 7 November 2011 to 9 January 2011.

Vodacom is now allowing their contract customers to also benefit from this promotion.

“From 7 December 2011 to 9 January 2012, contract customers can bolt on a Broadband Standard or Broadband Advanced once-off MyGig 20 data bundle to their existing contract and pay just R499,” Vodacom said.
