WirelessG has launched a new G-Connect Business Service, targeting businesses with a converged 3G, Wi-Fi, ADSL and In-Flight Wi-Fi product.

“There is a need in the market for an affordable convergence model where businesses have the capability to centralize the management and control of the internet expense of employees with multiple access accounts on multiple access mediums such as 3G, Wi-Fi, ADSL, and In-Flight Wi-Fi,” said Carel van der Merwe, CEO of WirelessG.

The offering consists of the G-Connect Business online management portal that provides effective control over the content, applicants, allocations and distributions of sponsored employee Internet connectivity.

“What makes the offering even more unique is its diversified and converged nature. The business can open an online business account on www.gconnectbusiness.co.za, create employee profiles and allocate 3G, ADSL, Wi-Fi and even In-Flight Wi-Fi access to their employees’ G-Connect user accounts,” said van der Merwe.

“Employees will be able to make use of their access medium of choice at best price, quality and availability. The average cost per MB will be considerably lower and at much higher user satisfaction,” said van der Merwe.

WirelessG listed the following aspects of the service as key value propositions of its new service:

  • Easy to use Online management portal
  • Converged 3G, Wi-Fi, ADSL and In-Flight Wi-Fi Offering
