Cell C is planning to launch a new, aggressively priced mobile data promotion before the end of October. This is word from Cell C CEO Alan Knott-Craig.

Knott-Craig would not divulge the details of the promotion, but it is understood that it will provide consumers with great value for money.

Cell C recently unveiled its GigaNite promotion, offering bolt-on data bundles of 10GB for R149 per month, and 20GB for R249 per month, aimed at early morning Internet users.

Subscribers will be able to get their hands on the GigaNite bundles from Wednesday, 10 October 2012, which will give them this cheaper data to use from midnight until 06:00.

Telkom Business, 8ta, MTN and Vodacom are all currently running aggressively priced data promotions, and with Cell C’s latest plans consumers may be spoiled for choice towards the end of the year.
