Here are the best ISPs in SA, voted for by subscribers.

In the recent Broadband Survey conducted by MyBroadband, users were asked to rate their internet service provider (ISP) according to a variety of criteria, including value for money, ease of use, billing, customer service, technical support and overall satisfaction.

According to consumer feedback the best ISP in South Africa is Axxess with an average score of 88% across all parameters.  Web Africa was ranked second with 85% while Cybersmart came in third with 81%.

When it came to value for money Cybersmart came out tops while Web Africa received the highest ratings in the survey for its superior customer service and technical support.  It was however Port Elizabeth-based ISP Axxess which reigned supreme with the highest scores for billing, ease of use and overall satisfaction.  

Other ISPs which performed well included Imaginet, Openweb, Internet Solutions, SAINET and XDSL.
