Broadband survey shows which mobile broadband service has the most satisfied customers in South Africa

MyBroadband recently conducted its latest broadband survey, and the initial results show that 8ta‘s LTE service has the most satisfied users.

The broadband survey was completed by 8,220 broadband users across the country. These users rated the reliability, performance, support, value for money and overall satisfaction of their mobile broadband connection.

The survey therefore tested users’ satisfaction with their broadband service rather than the actual performance of the service (broadband performance indicators are available here).

The initial results show that 8ta’s LTE service had the highest average rating (7.11/10), followed by 8ta 3G (6.91), and Vodacom LTE (6.50).

The following table provides an overview of the initial results of the broadband survey for mobile broadband services.

MTN 3G 6.41 5.83 5.57 5.54 5.73 5.40 5.83 5.76

It should be noted that these are only the preliminary results, and that the final results (which will incorporate all survey responses with statistical filtering) may differ slightly from the results in the table.
