DStv price increases

MultiChoice has announced price increases for DStv that will kick in from 1 April 2012

MultiChoice has conducted its annual price review and will be increasing the fees of their Premium, Compact, Select, and Mobile bouquets.

Asked why subscription fees were increased, MultiChoice said that the price adjustment is part of its annual subscription fees review.

The satellite pay-TV broadcaster increases some of its fees every year, with new prices kicking in from 1 April.

In its notice to Premium subscribers, MultiChoice said:

We at MultiChoice strive to bring you a world of television enjoyment on DStv, from compelling entertainment to unrivalled sport. Through our commitment to continuous innovation, we’ve now enhanced our DStv experience by offering:

  • DStv Mobile subscription to all Premium subscribers at no extra cost (T&Cs apply)
  • BoxOffice on PVRs to our Premium subscribers (T&Cs apply)

MultiChoice provided the following table showing which bouquets were affected. All other fees not listed in this table remain the same.
