MultiChoice has announced that M-Net and DStv On Demand will be increasing the number of series available on the “catch up” service from 6 April 2012 “due to huge public demand and the sheer number of popular incoming series.”

Four new series will be available through DStv On Demand throughout April, MultiChoice said. These are: Game of Thrones; Californication; Homelandand; and Missing.

A schedule for DStv On Demand is available from the DStv website that shows the week within which an episode will be available on the service.

“The increase in series does, however, come at a cost,” MultiChoice said. “As of 6 April 2012, The Wild will no longer be available on the DStv On Demand service on PVRs in order to make space on PVR hard drives for the four additional international series.”

Fans of The Wild can still access episodes of the show via the DStv On Demand website, MultiChoice added.

“In addition, M-Net and DStv On Demand will be making The Wild available online to watch and download for 30 days after each episode is aired on live TV, giving viewers the opportunity to watch a stack of 16 episodes whenever and wherever they want,” MultiChoice said.
