The SA Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) has appointed two new group executives, the broadcaster announced on Saturday.

SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago said Verona Duwarkah was appointed as group executive of the television division while Lesie Ntloko was appointed to the same position in the radio division.

Their appointments were effective immediately.

“The board and management are confident that Ms. Duwarkah and Mr. Ntloko will execute their duties effectively, in order to provide compelling, informative and entertaining programming, in the competitive environment in which the SABC operates,” Kganyago said.
