F-Secure anti-theft software for Symbian, Windows and Android platforms available for free

F-Secure announced the availability of their Anti-theft for Mobile product in January this year. On 15 February support for the Android platform was announced.

The software is now available as a free download from the F-Secure website.

According to F-Secure it includes remote lock, theft control and remote wipe functionalities. As an ultimate safety measure to prevent misuse, it is possible to erase all the data on the phone with remote wipe by sending an SMS message.

You can also track your lost or stolen phone, according to the software’s website.

The software can be downloaded to your PC for uploading to your device from a download page on the F-Secure website. You can also download it directly from your device by visiting http://f-secure.mobi.

A list of supported devices is also available from the website.
