How much Vodacom subscribers really pay for a call

Vodacom has revealed the effective price for voice calls on its network, which shows what the true price of a call is.

Vodacom has released its quarterly update for the period ending December 2015, which showed that the effective price for voice calls on its network is 53c per minute. This is down from 63 cents a year ago.

Vodacom previously explained that lower contract voice rates are achieved by moving subscribers to new plans.

On the prepaid side, Vodacom is selling more bundles, which saw the effective price per minute for prepaid calls drop to 36c per minute.
