Cell C and Vodacom recently provided MyBroadband with indicative pricing and launch information around the Nokia 808 PureView, Lumia 710, and 610.

When Nokia launched its then flagship Windows Phone 7 device, the Nokia Lumia 800, in South Africa earlier this year, the Finnish phone maker also revealed that it planned to bring the Lumia 710 to SA in Q2.

Vodacom has since revealed that the indicative launch date for the Nokia Lumia 710 is the end of April 2012. It didn’t have any pricing information, but Vodacom was able to share indicative launch dates for the other devices.

Cell C said that they would only be able to give a better idea regarding the launch dates of the devices by the end of next week, but could give an indication of the prices the Lumia 710 and 610 were expected to sell for.

The table below summarises the information that the two operators provided to MyBroadband:

Device Launch window Pricing
Nokia Lumia 710 End of April 2012 R4,499
Nokia Lumia 610 May 2012 R3,999
Nokia 808 PureView July 2012 Not available
All launch dates and pricing are indicative only

8ta said that it plans to have the devices available on its network in the second half of 2012, dependent on the delivery of the supplier.

MTN were asked whether they would be bringing in the devices but did not provide comment by the time of publication.
