Vodacom has unveiled its ‘Power Hour Promotion”, offering its subscribers 60 minutes of on-net calls between 6am and 6pm on weekdays for R5.
Vodacom’s advertisement in the Sunday Newspapers stated “R5 for 60 minutes prepaid talk time. That’s Bosso. Talk to 25 million South Africans on Vodacom’s network between 6am and 6pm on weekdays”.
However, this promotion is not available to new subscribers. In the terms and conditions Vodacom highlights that “the promotion is only open to Vodacom Prepaid customers that have been active on the Vodacom network for at least 30 days”.
There is also a restriction on the purchasing of these bundles and when the airtime can be used. “Power Hour promotional bundles may only be purchased on weekdays once per day between 6am and 6pm and used between those times of the day of purchase,” Vodacom stated.
The Vodacom Power Hour promotion runs from Monday 2 July 2012 to 31 July 2012.
