8ta has unveiled their new prepaid service, giving subscribers between 20% and 100% bonus airtime when they recharge

8ta has launched their new ‘8ta More’ product, giving subscribers up to double the value when they recharge. The new 8ta More prepaid service have three tiers of bonus airtime: 25%, 50% and 100%.

Users who recharge between R10 and R29 will get 20% more airtime. This bonus airtime increases to 50% for recharges between R30 and R49 while users who recharge by R50 or more will get double (100%) the airtime.

8ta head Amith Maharaj explained that users have up to seven days to use the bonus airtime. The bonus airtime can be used for data, voice and SMSs.

“Our new offer cuts straight through the clutter in the market around prepaid rewards and provides customers with free airtime they can bank on. All the customer has to do to instantly earn the free airtime is recharge with R10 or more. Therefore the more you recharge, the more you get free,” said Maharaj.

The service will go live on 12 August 2012, and current clients will be able to port to the new service.
