Vodacom will be launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 at Vodacom World on 3 October 2012 and at participating outlets from 6 October 2012.
The device carries a recommended retail price of R7,400 and is set to be available on My Gig contracts at the following prices:
- Standard My Gig 1 at R389.00 per month
- Standard My Gig 2 at R429.00 per month
- Top Up Data Standard My Gig 1 at R389.00 per month
- Top Up Data Standard My Gig 2 at R429.00 per month
The device was confirmed for South Africa on 30 August 2012, a day after Samsung announced the successor to its phone/tablet hybrid at IFA in Berlin.
According to Samsung’s announcement, the device will feature a 5.5-inch 720p (720×1280) display, 1.6GHz quad-core processor, and Android 4.1.
