The HTC Evo 3D Android smartphone has been launched in South Africa, the smartphone maker announced in a press release today (14 November 2011).

The device not only has a screen capable of displaying 3D graphics without the need for glasses, but also has two 5 megapixel cameras that allows you to capture 3D images and videos.

Leaf International Communications, official distributors of HTC products in South Africa, announced that the device is available from the following service providers:

• Nashua Mobile
• Altech Autopage Cellular
• Virgin Mobile
• Lab88

According to Leaf, the device is available from Lab88 at a retail price of R6,888.
