Vodacom’s launch pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S3 revealed

The Samsung Galaxy S3 became available in South Africa yesterday (29 May 2012) and can be had on a few Vodacom contracts, as listed below.

Vodacom is selling the Galaxy S3 on promotional contracts from stores at its Vodacom World mall in Midrand until the official launch of the device on 7 June 2012.

All of the post-paid offerings from Vodacom include 250MB of data for the duration of the 24-month contract, a flip cover, and R100 for the Samsung Video Hub shop.

According to a Vodacom sales rep, they are selling only the 32GB “Marble White” version of the Samsung Galaxy S3.

For those that don’t want to enter into a contract to get their hands on the device, Samsung sales representatives said the Galaxy S3 would cost between R7,500 and R8,000 cash. The Samsung store in Vodacom World confirmed that they are selling it for R7,500.
