Nokia Lumia 900 confirmed for SA

Nokia SA has confirmed that its newest Windows Phone device will be coming to South Africa

MTN will offer the Nokia Lumia 900 from 30 June 2012, Nokia revealed today (1 June 2012). The Nokia Lumia 610 will also be landing in South Africa at the same time.

Vodacom previously told MyBroadband that it would not be offering the Nokia Lumia 900.

The Finnish phone manufacturer describes its phones as follows:

The Lumia 610 boasts a slim design, an 8 GB memory and SkyDrive storage. It is powered by an 800 MHz processor and sports a 3.7-inch WVGA display. The device is Nokia’s fourth and most affordable Lumia smartphone. It’s well suited for anyone that likes to keep in touch and share with friends and family in one place.

The Lumia 900 is built for speed with a 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor and includes a 4.3-inch Gorilla Glass AMOLED display with 800×480-pixel resolution. Add to that a 16GB internal storage and SkyDrive for you to archive photos, videos and documents. The device is receiving positive reviews for its awesome design, front-facing camera, high capacity battery and sleek design. The Lumia 900 is packed with features and delivers fantastic performance.

Nokia said it would announce pricing and package details through its social channels such as Twitter and its blog at a later stage.
