Lenovo unveils new Ultrabook models

Lenovo has released their latest Intel-powered Ultrabook offerings

Lenovo has announced the availability of the new IdeaPad U310 and U410 Ultrabooks featuring Intel’s new Ivy Bridge processors.

Starting at R10,000, the Ultrabooks will come in a range of colours and designs, including Cherry Blossom pink and Graphite grey, Sapphire blue, Aqua blue and Metallic red.

The 13.3-inch U310 and 14-inch U410 measure only 18mm and 21mm thick, and weigh 1.7kg and 1.9kg, respectively.

Both Ultrabooks feature Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce graphics, while the U410 features up to nine hours of battery life and 1TB hard drives. The U310 features up to 7 hours of battery life and 500GB hard drives.

The Lenovo Ultrabooks also come with on-site warranty upgrades, accidental damage protection and a sealed battery warranty as standard.

The IdeaPad U series will be available at Incredible Connection and all major PC retailers in South Africa starting 20 June 2012.
