Motorola South Africa has announced that its new rugged Android smartphone, the Motorola Defy Mini, is available on Vodacom at a recommended retail price of R1,999.
The device sports a 3.2-inch HVGA (320×480) display protected by scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass, a 600MHz processor, and 512MB RAM.
It has only 120MB of internal user storage, but does support up to 32GB microSD cards.
Android 2.3 “Gingerbread” is the mobile operating system (OS) that ships on the device, one version behind the latest iteration of Google’s smartphone OS.
According to Motorola the device is dustproof and water resistant.
Vodacom has the device available on Everyday Off-Peak 120 that includes 100MB data for the full 24-months of the contract for R135/month.
Motorola DEFY MINI, is now available from Vodacom. The recommended retail price is R1999 and it will also be available on contract.
