Apple unveiled a new design for their iTunes software for both iOS devices and PCs at an event in San Francisco today (12 September 2012).

The new design will run across all stores: books, music, and video, Apple said.

This includes a new design for every App entry on iOS, with Facebook likes integrated in every entry.

Apple said that it will now be possible to preview songs while browsing, playing samples while looking around the store.

The new version of iTunes is set to launch on PC during October 2012, while the iOS version will be available with iOS 6 on 19 September 2012.
