A Cell C spokesperson has told MyBroadband that they will launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 within the next 2 months.

This could be sooner, Cell C said, depending on device availability.

It is expected to cost R8,799 (including VAT) on pre-paid. Deals on contract will be announced closer to launch, Cell C said.

8ta has no plans to list the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in any of its offerings for the moment, 8ta boss Amith Maharaj said. He added that this may change in future.

Vodacom said that it has launched the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 at Vodacom World and expects to make it available more widely in some of its outlets by 6 October 2012.

MTN started taking orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on Monday (1 October 2012), but it isn’t clear when subscribers will be receiving their devices.
