The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini will be coming to South Africa

Cell C, MTN, Virgin Mobile, and Vodacom all plan on offering the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini in South Africa, spokespeople for the various networks recently told MyBroadband.

Samsung announced its new Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini in a press release on Thursday (11 October 2012), pitching it as a a compact version of its flagship Galaxy S3 smartphone.

The Korean electronic giant didn’t specify where or when the device would launch, but Cell C said the estimated time of arrival for the device is November 2012, while Vodacom said they are planning to launch the device before the end of the year.

“MTN confirms that it will be ranging the Samsung S3 Mini and will announce, in due course, the date when the device will be available at MTN stores,” said Mike Fairon, head of product innovation and development at MTN SA.

Virgin Mobile also said that they can only confirm price and timing at a later stage.
