The Nokia Lumia 920 is scheduled to hit South African shores in November, the Finnish cellphone maker announced in a press release today (23 October 2012), with local mobile networks MTN and Vodacom ranging the flagship Windows Phone 8 device.
The Lumia 920 will be joined by the Nokia Lumia 820 before the end of the year, Nokia said.
Both phones will run on Windows Phone 8 and be available in pentaband LTE with pricing, contract details and available colours being announced closer to sales start.
The Nokia Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch 768×1280 IPS display and features a 8.7 megapixel (MP) ”PureView” camera.
Nokia bills the Lumia 820 as a “mid-range smartphone that delivers high-end performance”. It has a 4.3-inch display and boasts an exchangeable shell design.
