Asus VivoBook S200 and S400 launched in SA

New Asus ultrabook range arrives in South Africa

Asus South Africa has announced that its new range of ultrabooks, the Asus VivoBook S200 (also known as the VivoBook X202E) and S400 are available locally from Incredible Connection.

The notebook PCs will be available through other channels later as well, Asus said.

In the press release announcing the devices, Asus said that the VivoBook range is optimised for Windows 8, with all models featuring multi-point touch panels and large touchpads.

According to Asus, South Africa is the only other country launching the S200 aside from the Best Buy group in the USA. Other countries will follow soon, Asus said.

Although the standard disclaimers of specifications and features changing without prior notice apply, Asus provided the following information about the new range:
