PlayStation 4 game streaming to Windows and Mac coming soon

Sony has announced a beta test for PS4 update 3.5, which will bring Remote Play to Windows and Mac PCs.

Sony has announced that the next system update for the PlayStation 4, version 3.50 (codenamed MUSASHI), will include Remote Play for Windows and Mac computers.

This means it will be possible to stream games from your PlayStation to your PC. Previously, this feature was only available on other Sony devices.

The company also announced that the beta for the 3.5 update starts on 2 March, but the new Remote Play feature will not be available to test yet.

Features that will be available to test include: Friend Online Notification, Appear Offline, and User Scheduled Events.

No launch date for the update has been announced.
