Apex Interactive has announced the return of the Sega Mega Drive to South Africa.

Apex Interactive has announced the return of the Sega Mega Drive to South Africa.

The gaming console is set to go on sale during March, and has a recommended retail price of R1,499.95.

The console comes with two controllers and 80 built-in Sega games – including the three original Mortal Kombat titles.

Other classic franchises included on the console are Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe, and Streets of Rage.

“You can also use original Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis games and cartridges from all regions,” said Apex Interactive.
