Yahoo Games will close on 13 May 2016, according to a report.

Yahoo Games will close on 13 May 2016, according to a report by Engadget.

The gaming portal started removing old titles in 2014, stated the report, and stopped accepting in-game purchases on 14 March.

Other services closing along with the gaming portal are Livetext, several of Yahoo’s regional media properties, and its BOSS APIs for developers.

Yahoo Games was launched in 1998.
