PS Vita and peripherals SA pricing

The recommended pricing of PS Vita models, peripherals and launch games has been announced

The PlayStation Vita will be hitting South African retail on 22 February 2012, and now we know (officially) how many pennies you are going to need for either of the two launch models.

The PlayStation Vita will launch with the 3G version at a recommended retail price (RRP) of R3,599, and the Wi-Fi only version at an RRP of R2,999.

PS Vita launch peripheral RRP has also been announced. PS Vita memory cards are available in three sizes.

PS Vita Augmented Reality card bundles

PlayStation Vita will come bundled with six AR Play Cards and a voucher code to download three AR games, all for free. Those games are:

  • Table Football
  • Cliff Diving
  • Fireworks

Sony claims that Augmented Reality is going to be a big part of the new gaming experiences PS Vita has to offer. The video below gives an idea on how it works.
