Julius Malema and the EFF left Parliament chanting “Zupta must fall, Zupta must fall” during President Jacob Zuma’s 2016 State of the Nation Address.

Malema and various members of the EFF interrupted Zuma’s address multiple times before leaving Parliament, much to the frustration of Speaker Baleka Mbete and the ANC.

The “Zupta” call refers to Zuma’s alleged corrupt relationship with the Gupta family in South Africa – who have multiple business interests in the country.

Zuma was scheduled to start his address on the state of South Africa at 19:00.
