Dell Inspiron 15R now available in SA

The new Dell Inspiron 15R range of portable notebooks is now available from distributor Drive Control Corporation.
The Inspiron 15R boasts a 15.6″ high definition widescreen LED display, 1.3 megapixel webcam, HDMI output, a 7-in-1 media card reader, three USB 2.0 ports, a combination E-SATA / USB 2.0 port, a DVD writer with optional Blu-ray upgrade, and a full sized keyboard (including numpad). It weighs in at 2.7 kilograms and claims a six-cell battery life of up to four hours.
The Dell Inspiron 15R series comes in a choice of Mars Black, Peacock Blue, Tomato Red or Lotus Pink. The range offers a host of standard features and upgradable specifications that deliver power, performance and usability.
“The Inspiron 15R series from Dell is ideal for individual users, small business users who require mobility and functionality, as well as students due to its entry level price range and high level of features,” says Mandy Porter, Dell Business Unit Manager at DCC.
“The notebooks come standard with Windows 7 and the new Intel Core processors, and can be customised to include up to eight gigabytes of DDR3 SDRAM, serial ATA hard drive capacity of up to 640 gigabytes and ATi Mobility Radeon graphics processing units, amongst other features,” Porter concludes.
