We take a look at the top laptops available on the market today.
Many new laptops made their appearance this year and often the array of new devices can boggle the mind.
But help is on the way. There are a variety of computing publications which do in-depth testing of laptops, including Stuff, PCMag and CNet.
According to Stuff Magazine, a recent edition to the South African magazine stands, Apple’s MacBook Pro, priced at R 17 216, reigns supreme.
Stuff also rates the Lenovo ThinkPad X 61, Apple Macbook, Lenovo ThinkPad T 61, and HP Pavilion dv 9660ei as great machines.
CNet rates Apple’s 13’’ MacBook as the best on the market, saying that “it's hard to find a laptop designed with more care and precision than the 13-inch MacBook”
CNet’s top 5 is completed by the Dell XPS M1730, HP Pavilion HDX, Sony VAIO TZ150N and Toshiba Portege R500.
Lenovo’s Thinkpad X61 Tablet is the best laptop according to PCMag. This publication further rates the Dell XPS M1730, HP Pavilion dv9500t and Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch LED as great machines.
