The latest DMMA/Effective Measure statistics reveal which local mobile websites attract the largest audiences

The DMMA/Effective Measure have released their latest website statistics for South African websites, revealing that News24 Mobile is the top mobile website in South Africa.

According to the June 2012 Effective Measure statistics, News24 Mobile attracted 1,084,263 unique visitors, edging out Supersport Mobile with 978,572 unique monthly browsers.

The top 5 local mobile websites are completed by Soccer Laduma, Vodacom Mobile, and Sport24′s WAP portal.

It is interesting to note that the 10 largest mobile websites in South Africa served 79 million page views in July 2012, illustrating the popularity of using mobile devices to access the Internet.
