The DMMA/Effective Measure released the August 2012 website statistics for South Africa recently, revealing that News24 Mobile is the top mobile website in South Africa

According to the August 2012 Effective Measure statistics, News24 Mobile attracted 1,369,740 unique visitors and served 31,390,864 pages to these visitors.

Supersport Mobile was ranked as the second largest mobile website in South Africa with 1,297,069 unique visitors, followed by Soccer Laduma with 637,821 unique monthly browsers.

It is interesting to note that the top 3 mobile websites in South Africa served 72 million pages, illustrating the growing popularity of mobile devices for web browsing.
