Toyota has shown off its 2017 model of the 86 at the New York Motor Show.

The 2017 version of the car will have 152kW (205hp), according to Autoblog, with Toyota stating that new ratios for the six-speed manual gearbox will increase the 86’s performance.

Updated spring rates will also sharpen the handling, according to the report.

The 2017 version will feature slightly updated aesthetics, including LED headlights and taillights and a new central intake.
