Google is more popular among consumers than Apple and Facebook

Google is the most popular technology brand, beating out the likes of Apple, Facebook and Twitter.

This is according to a survey conducted by ABC News and The Washington Post, which revealed that 82 percent of Americans have a favourable opinion of Google.

53 percent of respondents were “strongly” favourable of the company, while 9 percent thought Google was unfavourable.

Apple took second position behind Google, with 74 percent of respondents feeling favourable towards the company.

37 percent of these were strongly favourable, while 13 percent felt unfavourable towards the world’s most valuable company.

Facebook followed Apple with a 58 percent approval rating, beating out Twitter whose approval rating sat at 34 percent.

The survey ran from 28 March to 1 April, with a total of 1,007 adults polled.
