Google’s social network is losing online games from multiple publishers

Google had previously announced that it would add a range of games to its social network offering Google+, another move to bolster its position against rival, Facebook.

However, Google’s gaming plans suffered a major setback after two game makers began pulling titles from the site.

PopCap games pulled its popular Bejeweled franchise, after which German games maker, Wooga pulled three of its titles.

Google+ has shown impressive user growth since its launch; however, recent studies have shown that the site is a “ghost town” with very little user activity.
