Samsung look to be readying a Windows RT-based tablet for release later this year, according to Bloomberg.

Windows RT is the first mainstream, desktop-class Windows operating system to run on ARM chips. ARM processors have been praised for their better battery management, as they now power iOS and Android devices.

This news comes on the heels of Samsung’s announcement that the company will be supporting Windows 8 in an all-in-one PC and hybrid laptop-bundle.
