The next instalment of Apple’s iPhone range is already in the production stages, according to a Japanese tech blog.

Details regarding the new iPhone include the device having a glass and aluminium back, along with the most-anticipated feature – a large 4-inch class Retina display with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

The claims are backed up by online listings for third-party iPhone 5 cases.

To add more fuel to the rumours, Chinese online resellers, Taobao, recently started accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 5.
