Steve Jobs named one of Time’s “Most Influential Americans”

Steve Jobs has been included in Time’s list of the 20 “trailblazers, visionaries and cultural ambassadors who defined a nation.”

Steve Jobs, the late Apple co-founder, has been named among others in a Time magazine list of the 20 most influential Americans of all time.

Other people on the list include historical icons, such as George Washington, Thomas Edison, and Albert Einstein.

Steve Jobs, referred to as the “high priest of the digital age”, was remembered as the list recounted some of his greatest career highlights.

“Jobs was a visionary whose great genius was for design: he pushed and pushed to make the interface between computers and people elegant, simple and delightful. He always claimed his goal was to create products that were ‘insanely great’. Mission accomplished.”

Jobs has been featured on the cover of Time magazine eight times.
