Facebook’s mobile usage has increased 23 percent to 102 million users in June 2012.

The numbers are a significant increase from its 83 million mobile users captured in March this year.

Facebook recently looked to target mobile advertising more aggressively, as the mobile site and apps only showed the occasional Sponsored Stories ad, while the desktop version displayed seven ads per page.

18.7% of its 543 million monthly mobile users don’t even visit its desktop site.
