The Iranian minister of communication and information technology has expressed his concern with the state of the Internet and its controlling powers.
Speaking at an Iranian university event, Muhamoud Ahmadinejad said that the web is unreliable because it is in the hands of “one or two specific countries”.
Ahmadinejad explained how the West’s watchful eye over the Internet isn’t productive for information distribution.
To remedy this, it was revealed in January that Iran is building its own internet network called the I”ranian Narrow Web”.
