Samsung is expected to release Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Note just after it rolls-out for the S III.

According to Android.gs, the Jelly Bean update is then speculated to arrive for the two devices in October, with Galaxy S III users getting the next update even earlier.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean features a more responsive user interface; better voice transcription; overhauled search; and a new feature called Google Now, which anticipates what a person may need to know at any given moment.
