Another video has hit the web claiming to show the official iPhone 5.

The leaked video supposedly compares the alleged next-generation iPhone against its predecessor, the iPhone 4S.

The phone features the reported smaller dock connector, elongated display, centred front FaceTime camera, and a rear metal plate – elements which have been rumoured to feature on the forthcoming phone.

Yesterday (5 September 2012), an alleged photo from the iPhone printing factory leaked, showing the packaging reading “The New iPhone”, expecting that the new phone would drop the numerical designation to its name.

The photo has been deemed “fake” by some community members.

Apple is hosting an event on 12 September rumoured to be the unveiling of the iPhone 5, with a release date pegged shortly thereafter, on Friday 21 September.
