At a press event in New York City, Motorola has announced the Droid RAZR HD, the company’s next flagship smartphone running on Android.
Featuring a larger 4.7-inch screen, HD display, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the RAZR HD comes with a 2,500mAh battery; 1.5GHz dual-core processor; pre-installed Chrome browser; and LTE capabilities.
The phone features a 1280 x 768 resolution Super AMOLED screen and an 8-megapixel rear camera.
It includes 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, expandable through microSD.
While coming with Ice Cream Sandwich, Motorola did show the device running on Jelly Bean.
Pricing hasn’t yet been announced, but the device should be in stores “before the holidays”.
