Twitter may face a fine for failing to comply with a court order, which required the micro-blogging platform to turn over the tweets of an Occupy Wall Street protester.

A US judge has given Twitter until Friday to deliver the tweets, or pay the fines in the case of Malcolm Harris, who was arrested last October during an Occupy Wall Street protest on the Brooklyn Bridge.

In June, the judge had ordered Twitter to turn over Harris’ tweets from over a three-month period.

Twitter tried to appeal the case, though a U.S. court ruled that the criminal case cannot be delayed.
