Social media activity gives insight into the audience response of Apple’s iPhone 5 reveal

During Apple’s iPhone 5 reveal event, marketing firm, Taykey tracked the activity of social networks and how it changed during certain feature announcements of the new device.

Taykey gathered information from over 50,000 user-generated online sources – such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo and blogs – and converted the findings into an infographic.

The infographic represents the user volume and sentiment trends during the feature reveals.

The biggest peak hit when the launch date was announced, while sentiment fell during the announcement of the A6 chip and improved camera.
