A teen was sent to jail for ignoring an order to delete Facebook comments which pertained to a car crash she was involved in.

According to Lex18.com, police believe Paula Asher’s car struck a vehicle that four teens were riding in, and then fled the scene of the accident before police arrived.

Asher, who was said to be at fault for the reckless hit-and-run accident, took to Facebook and posted: “My dumbass got a DUI and hit a car LOL”.

A district judge ordered the teen to disable her Facebook after the victims’ parents saw the post.

Asher ignored the order, and was sentenced to two days in jail for a contempt of court charge.

Asher told NBC affiliate Wave 3: “I didn’t think ‘LOL’ would put me in jail.”
